What's New?

South Yorkshire Wheels 2 Work has received funding from the Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT) for another year.  We are very grateful for the continuing support for the project from CRT.  It shows that there is a real recognition of the value of Wheels 2 Work in assisting people into employment or training.  As a county-wide scheme we can ensure that no-one, no matter where they live in the county, misses out on opportunities.

South Yorkshire Wheels 2 Work has also been named as one of the projects to benefit from South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive’s successful bid to the governments Local Sustainable Transport Fund.  This, once again, is a tremendous endorsement of the Wheels 2 Work approach.  The additional funding will allow us to provide a more comprehensive offer including bicycles, electric scooters and even electric bicycles.

Our colleague in Doncaster, Gaye Shepherd has moved into a new office at The Base in Doncaster – see new contact details. This is all part of the county-wide approach being taken and as the new office is much closer to the city centre it should be easier for riders and other visitors  to call in.
